hola!!

My name is Elena Aillon, I grew up in Boston, Massachusetts and I graduated in 2023 from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a BS degree in Industrial Design. I have a love for travel, culture, language, and the ocean. My family is originally from Bolivia and I can see how my time and memories in Bolivia have influenced my personality, style, and design choices today. I also feel very connected to the word “thalassophile” meaning “someone who loves the sea”. Growing up I spent every summer on Block Island, off the coast of Rhode Island. So naturally, I pull lots of inspiration from my childhood explorations under the oceans surface. It is very important for me to feel personally connected to my designs and for my work to be a reflection of who I am. Lets talk about travel! I love hearing about other peoples experiences and learning about pretty much anything and everything! I feel that I have learned the most about myself and my goals through my experiences outside of the country :)
